The exhibition From Rembrandt to Vermeer staged at the Museo del Corso in Rome is dedicated to some of the greatest players in the history of seventeenth-century Dutch and Flemish painting.
For this exhibition were collected 55 works of great masters such as Rembrandt , Aart de Gelder , Frans Hals , Gerard ter Borch , Jan Vermeer , Pieter de Hooch and again Van Dych and Rubens . The exhibition brings
for the first time in our country a number of works of art dedicated to the intimacy of family life and therefore a testimony of the bourgeois social values \u200b\u200bof the seventeenth century Holland, in a historical context characterized by great changes and transformations.
The exhibition is curated by Berndt Lindemann director of Gemäldegalerie of Berlin and the 'organization of the Foundation in Rome.
