Marathon Pescara and Half Marathon - October 17, 2010

Pescara “Città vicina” – questo è lo slogan del centro Abruzzese che ha ospitato la 10° edizione della Maratona D’ANNUNZIANA.

Tutto è incominciato a Deliceto (Foggia) Venerdì 15 Ottobre, dove con gli amici Franco CASSAVIA, Massimo FALEO, Francesco CARFORA, Antonella IOCOLA, Michele CALABRESE, Franco GIANDOLFI, Antonio RICCUCCI e Antonio LEOPARDI BARRA si è svolta la cena pre-gara a base di pesce e non solo – infatti è stata la buona occasione per consumare alcuni prodotti tipici contenuti all’interno dei pacchi gara ritirati in questa stagione.

Amhed JADDAD (Atletica 2000) per gli uomini (1h 9’ 57’’) e Enrica MICHETTI (ATL. STUDENTESCA CA.RI.RI) per le donne (1h 22’ 31’’) conquistano la pole-position nella Mezza Maratona.

Mezza Maratona : Antonio BOCALE 1h 21’ 27’’ e Antonio LEOPARDI BARRA 1h 38’ 40”.

Maratona : Francesco CASSAVIA 3h 7’ 33’’, Michele CALABRESE 3h 46’ 37’’, Giuseppe D’ALTERIO 3h 52’ 12’’,Francesco PRENCIPE 4h 2’ 25’’, Pasquale GIULIANI 4h 3’ 33''FLOWER Antonio 4h 20 '24'', Michele Spaniards 4h 49' 48'', Luigi Tommasone 4h 55 '57'', James WAR 4h 55' 55'', Aldo GALLO 5h 25 '33''.

Antonella IOCOLA runners captains of the Company, after the excellent performance of the Gargano and Curinga, travels a distance of 42km in 3h 29 '55''finishing in 48th place overall (6 th place ranking women) down for the first time below the threshold of 3 hours and thirty.

During the rest do un piacevole incontro, ci troviamo di fronte al campione del mondo di 100 km Giorgio CALCATERRA , maratoneta umile, generoso e leale con oltre 1000 gare percorse a tutt’oggi.
